How the Games Work
A student rolls the game die, moves a playing piece, and looks at
the picture on the square he or she landed on. The other players
ask, 'What is it?' If the student correctly identifies the object,
for example, an eraser, he or she gets to spin to answer one of four
additional 'WH' questions:
• Who uses it?
• How do people use it?
• Why do people use it?
• Where is it?
Scoring
Students who answer the first 'WH' question ('What is it?')
correctly earn one point. If the second 'WH' question is answered
correctly, a second point is earned. Reproducible score sheets allow
players to keep their own score. The first player to reach 20 points
wins.
