United States Government Game
As students enjoy the game format, they review important knowledge about the government of the United States
Covering 150 facts, The United States Government Game, by
PCI's Kristina Swann, offers a fun alternative to textbooks and
worksheets. As students enjoy the game format, they review important
knowledge about the government of the United States, their role in
that government, and their rights as guaranteed by the United States
Constitution. This unique educational game complements the Living in
the United States series.
HOW THE GAME WORKS Players roll the die to move around the
game board. When a player lands on a square, he or she draws a Draw
Card from the appropriate pile. If the player draws a "Which
Branch?" card, he or she must identify in which branch of government
an official belongs. If the player draws a "Checks and Balances"
card, he or she must answer a question about the checks and balances
of the three branches of government. If the player draws a "Wild
Card," he or she will answer a random question about the government.
INCLUDES Game Board; 150 Draw Cards; Teacher's Guide with
reproducible Score Sheet; 1, 2, 3 Game Die; and 6 Playing Pieces
