Coupon Math Binders
Engage students with 2 reproducible binders that offer "hands-on"
math practice using realistic coupons and coupon mailers to solve
addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems. Students make
"real-world" purchasing decisions, compare prices of similar
products and services at different stores, use coupons to make
purchases, and calculate the benefits of using them versus not using
them. This series works well for struggling learners in middle
school and up.
Binder 1
Covers 5 units with activities that use coupons to solve addition
and subtraction problems. Also includes three copies of a
full-color, 16-page coupon flyer.
Binder 2
A higher level that covers activities that use coupons and coupon
mailers to solve addition and subtraction as well as multiplication
problems. Includes over 100 activity sheets with assessments;
examples and guided practice pages to model new skills; adaptive
worksheets in each unit for students who need structured steps laid
out to complete problems; reproducible coupons and coupon mailers;
3 copies of a full-color, 8-page coupon flyer; 10 coupon
mailers; and extension activity suggestions.
Coupon Flyers and Mailers
Each binder includes full-color, realistic coupon flyers for solving
"real-world" problems and extension activities. Binder 2 also
includes coupon mailers. The activities are ideal for individual,
partner, or small group work to reinforce number operation problems
with multiple steps.
