MegaMix
Playful and educational switch computer software games for young children
MegaMix is designed for ages 3 to 8, but the 'age-independent' graphics make it useful
for older students and adults. Access through mouse or keyboard. Most activities are
also switch accessible.
No installation required. The program is running from the CD
without any installation. Each game has a lot of adjustments.
Domino:
In Domino you can use mouse or keyboard match two wagons
carrying symbols of the same sort. There are 90 different symbols to
combine. Here easy is 3 wagons, medium hard is 5 and hard is 7
wagons. When you have matched the right symbols the engine puffs
forward a little bit and when all the wagons are placed the trains
puffs away to come back with new symbols.
Fruit Picking:
In Fruit picking you will go with the right and left arrow keys
and catch falling fruit in a basket. Now you have got to catch the
right kind of fruit falling from the fantasy trees. You can set the
speed in this game. When you have mad it all right a figure will
jump of joy as your reward.
Dot to Dot :
In Dot to Dot you can use mouse or keyboard to draw the lines
between numbered dots forming the contour of a figure. When you are
done, the figure comes to live with animation and sound. You can
choose between 15 different figures as well as how precise the lines
must be drawn between the dots.
Maze:
In the Maze you will go with the arrow keys through mazes.
There are 11 different scenarios to discover and explore. When you
reach the target music and animation will reward you. There are
three difficulty levels to choose from. From simple mazes to more
complex mazes. The mazes look different each time you start a new
set. By pressing the Spacebar you will receive help to reach the
target.
Reveal (Scratching):
In Scratching you can use mouse or keyboard to uncover
pictures. When you have uncovered the whole scene it will come alive
with animation and sounds. There are twelve different pictures lying
behind in this activity. In this game you can choose between three
different sizes of eraser and also how much you have to erase until
the picture comes alive.
Complete the Picture:
In Complete the Picture you will complete a picture using mouse
or keyboard. When the picture is completed music and gold stars will
reward you. There are 13 different pictures to complete.
Paintbook:
In Paintbook you can make drawings with 8 common colors. If you
wish
further colors you can choose from the palette in Windows. Sizes of
brush, fillings, eraser together with a couple of paint effects are
also available. In Paintbook you can have a good time with 15
different backgrounds and 100 different stamps to add. In this
activity you can create as far as your fantasy will take you.
Music:
In Music Games you can use mouse or keyboard to place rock
musician on stage. When a musician is placed on stage he will play a
short solo. When all the musicians are on stage the band will play a
tune together. You can also click on any of the musicians on stage
to hear him play. Music Games contains many different tunes and
short pieces of music for you to experience music in an interactive
way.
