Laureate's Goals and Objectives:

This program assumes the student already comprehends the
prepositional terms used on Diskette 1 and the directional terms
Upper/Lower/Left/Right used on Diskette 2. If preposition training
is needed, we recommend diskettes 3 and 7 of the
Micro-LADS program. For students
experiencing left/right confusion, we recommend
Following Directions:
Left and Right.
Goal 1: Using the Testing Option, select a stimulus set and command level #1-One Level Commands. Test one stimulus set from Spatial Terms (Diskette 1), one from Directional Terms (Diskette 2), and one from Ordinal Terms (Diskette 2).Objective 1: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow One-Level Commands involving Spatial Relations by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 1, select a Spatial Relations stimulus set and command level #1-One-Level Commands. Set Parameter #5, Training Level to End, to 3. Set Parameter #8, Criterion to End the Lesson, to 8/10. If necessary, you can choose to have the student work solely at lower training levels initially by adjusting Parameter #5, Training Level to End, to 1 (instruction, cuing, and feedback) or 2 (instruction and feedback). A variety of stimulus sets may be used in achieving the objective. Objective 2: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow One-Level Commands involving Directional Terms by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 2, select the Directional Terms stimulus set 1 or 2 and command level #1-One-Level Commands. Set parameters the same as for Objective #1.Objective #3: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow One-Level Commands involving Ordinal Terms by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 2, select the Ordinal Terms stimulus set 3 or 4 and command level #1-One-Level Commands. Set parameters the same as for Objective #1.Goal 2: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow Sequential Commands involving Spatial, Directional, and Ordinal terms by completing testing on at least one stimulus set for each with 80% accuracy. Using the Testing Option, select a stimulus set and command level #2-Sequential Commands. Test one stimulus set from Spatial Terms, one from Directional Terms, and one from Ordinal Terms. Objective #1: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow Sequential Commands involving Spatial Relations by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 1, select a Spatial Relations stimulus set and command level #2-Sequential Commands. Set Parameter #5, Training Level to End, to 3. Set Parameter #8, Criterion to End the Lesson, to 8/10. If necessary, you can choose to have the student work solely at lower training levels by adjusting Parameter #5, Training Level to End, to 1 (instruction, cuing, and feedback) or 2 (instruction and feedback) A variety of stimulus sets may be used in achieving the objective. Objective #2:Student will demonstrate the ability to follow Sequential Commands involving Directional Terms by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 2, select the Directional Terms stimulus set 1 or 2 and command level #2-Sequential Commands. Set parameters the same as for Objective #1.Objective #3: Student will demonstrate the ability to follow Sequential Commands involving Ordinal Terms by completing training with 80% accuracy at Training Level 3 (feedback only). Using the Training Option on Diskette 2, select the Ordinal Terms stimulus set 3 or 4 and command level #3-Two-Level Commands. Set parameters the same as for Objective #1. |
