Words and Concepts II
Appropriate for Language Development Stages 5-7. Correlated to State Standards. See Bundle with Concentrate! Series (all 6 programs).

This program uses the same activities as Words and Concepts I, but adds 40 new nouns to enrich vocabulary, strengthen language comprehension, and encourage concept development. Part of the Words and Concepts Series.

Most of the activities have 3 levels of difficulty. The computer can be set to work on one level or branch among the levels, following the progress of the individual.

Vocabulary
3 pictures appear and the user is asked to choose one (e.g. "Find the hat.").

Categorization
The user is asked to find nouns based on its category (e.g. "Which one is clothing?").

Word Identification by Function
The use learns to identify nouns based on their functions (e.g. "Find the one you wear on your feet.").

Word Association
The user decides which noun "goes with" another noun (e.g. "Which one goes with the bird?").

Concept - Same/Alike
The user compares 3 pictures and selects the ones that are alike.

The user compares 3 pictures and chooses the one that is different.
