This is a rare and exciting opportunity for students to learn about
the beliefs and customs that shape the lives of people in America
and across the globe. Students hear personal perspectives from
children representing each religion. Six major religions; Buddhism,
Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Sikhism are explored
through photo tours, text, and narration. A simple and attractive
interface offers keys into the places, holy writings, special days,
people, and beliefs of each religion. The tool chest contains links
to the menu, the index, and a notebook in which students can compose
thoughts and observations about what they are learning. When
difficult words are encountered in the text, simply highlighting
them produces a quick definition. Individual learners or teams can
challenge their new knowledge with a multiple-choice quiz. Website

educational package for any Social Studies curriculum.
