Design of Tasks

Each task is broken down into small steps, so nearly every user can succeed! The ten tasks use recognizable materials for meaningful work.

Each task includes all work material, bins and boxes. Also included are step-by-step instructions, data collection reports, plus, for assembly and packaging tasks, competitive norms and disassembly instructions with norms.

• Container Packaging
  A five piece assembly using inserting and snapping followed by packaging
• Coupling Assembly
  A moderate skill level turning task with an industrial compression coupling
• Dice Packaging
  A mid-range pattern packaging task
• Four Component Packaging
  A 4 compartment box is packaged with material of pattern A or B
• Hose Nozzle Assembly
  A moderately complex task involving simultaneous turning & assembly
• Key Ring Assembly
  A two-part press and push assembly
• Pencil Packaging
  An assembly, inserting, & packaging task of 3 pencils & erasers
• Rubber Parts Sort
  12 industrial rubber parts sort into 3-12 groups with introduction of categories
• Six Item Sort
  This mid-range sorting task introduces inspection and quality control
• Snap Box Packaging
  A mid-range packaging task using counting skills
