This comprehensive study skills program helps students improve their study habits and develop responsibility. The age-appropriate program progresses with students as they begin first grade and continue through fifth grade. The focus is on connecting school and home experiences to help students succeed, not only in basic academics, but also in daily life. The program is designed so that critical study skills can be taught and reinforced within the regular curriculum. School-Home ConnectionBefore beginning each unit, a parent letter is sent home providing information about the skill the unit covers and why it is important. Throughout the unit Home Connection Activity Sheets are sent home to be completed with parental help, signed by a parent, and returned to school the next day. This allows the parent to take an active role in helping his or her child achieve school success. The Five Study Skills1.
