The legendary Welsh figure Seithenin will guide you across
virtual thresholds into fascinating households from 4,000 B.C. to
the present. Stunning videos and wonderful graphics immerse students
in Welsh culture as they enter history from an exciting new angle.
They'll develop historical interpretation skills as they examine
folklore, architecture, chronology, archeology, cultural diversity,
lifestyle and landscape in the context of houses throughout one
country's history. A menu of six doors leads students to interactive
tours and activities exploring themes such as place, continuity and
change, and similarity and difference. The activity modules are
fully configurable to enable teachers to tailor learning activities
for groups and individuals. History will come to life for students
as soon as they "set foot" in the diverse homes of this innovative
program.
