Time Timer Testimonials

• "An innovative and excellent way of depicting the passage of time visually. I feel that this is a must for every home and classroom." - Dr. Diane Twachtman-Cullen, nationally known educator and speaker

• "I have seven students (six with autism and one who has Downs Syndrome). I like using the Time Timer with my students because it does not disturb the others, some of whom are extremely noise sensitive." - Special Education Classroom Teacher

• "I have a whole group of students in my resource room that would greatly benefit from the Time Timer. What a wonderful product." - Education Resource Consultant

• "I just wanted you to know that your Time Timer has been very beneficial and popular. We’ll be ordering more for our schools. People are fighting over the one we have!" - Teacher

• "Thank you so much for your wonderful product... I am not only using your product with special needs children, but with my own at home too! I have high hopes of taking away some stress of homework time and practicing the piano." - Teacher

• "I just wanted to let you know I received the Time Timers yesterday and have already sent back the broken ones. Thanks again for such prompt, wonderful service. This truly has been an unique experience. I'm a very satisfied customer!" - Teacher

• "We received the new timer and the boys were excited. It actually ended up being a bit of a social skills lesson. When we first were having trouble getting it to work, I asked them what they thought I should do. They did not think a company would listen if we told them about the difficulties. They thought it was really neat that a company would stand behind their product like you have and that all you have to do is communicate respectfully (I teach a group of Emotional/Behavioral Disability students). Thanks for being so prompt and helpful and for helping my students see that you can get help from others when there are problems without needing to get really "mad." I will definitely recommend your company and timers to others." - Teacher

• "Hello! I really like my Time Timer, what a great idea/concept! My students (I teach kindergarten) like it because it allows them to tell how much time is left during an activity...even though they can't tell time! It is wonderful!" - Teacher

• "Your Time Timers are an integral part of my classroom. They are placed in every station in my classroom and my students have learned how to set them themselves. The response to this self regulating, visual system has been remarkable, reducing transition challenges profoundly. For one student in particular, it facilitated a major behavioral breakthrough, making the impending transitions understandable and tolerable. We even take our Timetimers with us for outside activities! I am attempting to accomplish purchasing them for my students to use for home activities." - Teacher

• "I have been using your Time Timer software for several years when administering science labs, SAT testing, timed classroom presentations, etc. Both teachers and students find it easy to use and view. A great professional tool for classroom use." - Teacher

• "I have used one of your Time Timers in my classroom for a number of years with great success. My students like it a great deal, even those who need the challenge of slowing down and doing a good job rather than a rushed job. Two colleagues bought them on my recommendation!" - Teacher

• "My sister likes the Personal Time Timer and has already seen great improvement in her daughter Meagan’s ability to make sense of time. Meagan is excited about being responsible, in fact, she times her mother and father regularly!" - Parent

• "This is the perfect idea for people with Alzheimer's Disease who ask 'how much time to go' questions, over and over. Congratulations on a great product." - Family Member

• "Our daughter Cathie received the Time Timer today and it is a great success. Her little boy...who is six and has Asperger's Syndrome knew straight away how it worked, while Cathie was still trying to figure it out! Alex has great trouble knowing how much time has elapsed and the visual movement of the time passing is an enormous help to him." - Grandmother

• "I was out yesterday due to my 5 yr. old being sick anyway. The new timer works great and has made a serious improvement on getting the kids to bed at nite and nap time on weekends, out of the house in the mornings for the school bus pickup and/or off to daycare. My 3 year old actually ASKS me to set the timer to 15 minutes when I tell him it's time to get ready for ... . Sometimes I ask him how much time he needs to do something and he will point to the timer and say the number of minutes (it's usually 15 to 25 minutes). So again, Thank you." - Parent

• "Thank you for such a wonderful and useful product. My son has autism and has found this a very useful resource. Today I have just ordered another desk top timer and a pocket timer. My son has been taking the timer to school, the class teacher has said that there has been a dramatic improvement in my son's ability to do and complete activities. I forgot to take the timer this week and a few of the other children and the teacher said that they really missed the timer as it helped them too. Hence the additiobal order!!! Thank you again!" - Parent

• "I want to thank you for such a great concept - this timer is 'priceless' in my son's preschool with the children as well as home. Visualization of time before actual learning is great when children anticipate an event or when it is time for parents to pick them up from a morning at school." - Parent

• "I received the Time Timer yesterday afternoon. We've already used it half-dozen times, and my 4 and 7 year old really respond to this type of "timer". The ability to "visualize" an allotted amount of time really makes an impact! Thanks for this fantastic, genius product!!! Your communication and customer service are top rate!" - Parent

• "I'm looking forward to getting the replacement personal timer that I can carry around with me. My 3.5 year old and I are really enjoying our regular timer. I can see how it's helping her learn the concept of elapsed time and deadlines. As an adult with ADD who has been chronically late her entire life, I can also say that the visual depiction of time is helping me. I use it mainly when I'm getting ready for work, and I can tell a difference in my time perception. It's amazing that something so basic can help so much. You have an amazing invention, and I appreciate your sharing it with us. I work with adults with brain injuries who have similar time management issues, and I'm telling everyone I know about the timetimer. Once I get my personal timer, I can take it around to my client visits and team meetings where I can show it off to both clients and treatment professionals. Maybe it will generate some orders for you." - Parent

• " I just wanted to thank you for your terrific product. Your timer has greatly aided my husband and I in getting our two-year old daughter in to bed and nap time and at bed time. Of course, no product would do the trick without behavioral follow-up, but she can easily comprehend that the "red time" is "going away." It only took us two nights of tantrums at bedtime when all her time was gone before she learned the connection between the timer and our insistence that she get in bed. Although this sounds corny, naptime and bedtime is so much more a pleasure now. She visually sees that her time is gone and is so much more cooperative about stopping whatever before bed-time activity we are doing and getting into bed. It is also great that the timer is not a clock in that we may not always start our bedtime routine at exactly the same time each night. It's close but not exact. Because it is a timer, we can adjust the amount of "red time" to about the same amount even if we are ten minutes later getting out of the bath. I also give her some auditory cues at 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute. Again, thank you for your wonderful product. I have told several of my friends and plan to mention it to any clients who are having difficulties with their children at bedtime (I'm a psychologist)." - Parent / Psychologist

• "The Time Timer really helped me keep track of time at my AP tests." - High School Student

• "I like the Time Timer. I am 11 years old and I have PDD. I like it because I know how much longer 'til my friend will be here. We bought two of the Time Timer. One for home and one for school. It helps me stay calmed down." - 11 Year-Old Boy

• "Since using the Time Timer, my meetings have never been more efficient or effective. People actually want to attend because I don’t waste their time." - Corporate Department Head

• "We spoke on the phone last week about Bittersweet Farms ordering additional Time Timers for use at our facility for adults with autism. We have had several timers in use for 4+ years and they continue to be wonderful tools and supports for our individuals. I am especially happy to hear of the 3 inch model since we are a farm community and our participants spend a lot of time in different outdoor occupations. The pocket-sized timer will travel and be used all over our 88 acres!" - Janice Cline, M.S., CCC-SLP

• "I love your visual timer. It has been especially useful in working with children with ADD and traumatic brain injuries." - OTR

• "What an awesome company you have. Believe me, as a person whose husband works for a small company, I know that word of mouth is the best advertisement...and I have a large mouth! I will be passing along info about your great product to all." - Therapist

• "Thank you so much for everything! Our private practice is celebrating its 25th year and we have 13 Speech Pathologists associated with our practice. I am truly impressed with your products and, now, getting to know your great customer service. You can be sure that we are and will be recommending and demonstrating your wonderful inventions!" - Speech Language Pathologist and Learning Disabilities Specialist
