Pictures That Talk

Pictures That Talk is designed to be used with the Talking Photo Album. Taken together, they improve student social interaction skills, increase independence and enhance communication between families and professionals who work with them. The ideas for making album pages are illustrated in full color. Use the book’s suggestions for pictures, text and recorded messages or adapt the ideas to create your own. Authored by Juli Trautman Pearson and Harvey Pressman, the book includes a wide range of ideas submitted by over 25 contributors.

The Talking Photo Album lets you record up to 10 seconds per each of its 24 pages. This easy-to-use speech output device holds standard 4” x 6” photos or your own picture/text cards; user squeezes play button to activate speech.
