This program helps students of all ages, including those with limited
or no reading skills, practice basic math skills within the
context of budgeting and shopping. This program includes
three titles:
Grocery Store Money Math,
Super Store Money Math, and
Drug Store Money Math.
How the Program Works
Students use realistic store flyers to find the prices of 48
items in each binder. This hands-on approach helps students
learn how to use sales flyers found in stores, newspapers,
and the mail. The illustrated sales flyers and activity
sheets offer practice in budgeting and determining the
correct amount of money to take to the store. The lessons
focus on basic addition skills and cover various shopping
lists of two, three, four, and five store products.
Features
The flyers and worksheets feature realistic photographs.
Each title offers worksheets in two levels for students with
varying math abilities.
