Test Me, Score Me 2.0 authoring program This authoring program can revolutionize what we know about what students have learned. How many times have we said, "I know he knows that information. I know he does. He just can't tell me." Test Me, Score Me can solve this dilemma. Create tests with yes/no or multiple-choice answers. Use pictures, movies, text and speech. Use items that are familiar to the student, or use new items to check for generalization. Set up the questions, ask them, and then let the computer keep score of the answers. Use images, symbols, animation, sounds, or text boxes: Author using 31 types of images including JPEG, GIF, and even Boardmaker/Overboard symbols (Windows Metafiles). You can also add animations to your tests using Animated Gifs or Quicktime or AVI movies. You can add text boxes and even record your own sounds or use existing MP3 files. Simple test construction: Making a test is as simple as selecting images, adding text or sound files and then 'assigning' an answer by simply dragging and dropping an icon over an object. An answer can be an image, animated gif or text box. Test Options: • Randomly presents answers each time a test is taken • 9 templates to choose from or create a test from scratch • Take up to 9 tests at one time • Test information is captured to student's portfolio once the test is complete • Import/export tests; share with colleagues • Reinforcement at the end of the test encourages students Universal Assessability: mouse, touchscreen, single switch, 2 switch, or IntelliKeys keyboard. Data collection is the key to the test taking. A snapshot of the question, the answer and a 'correct/incorrect' indication is recorded for each question. Print the results out and include in the student's portfolio. 256MB RAM Win ME/2000/XP Mac OS8.1-9.2/OSX Modules Supported by Test Me, Score Me are listed below |

Teach Me Nouns Series - See individual units below Teach Me Nouns is for students with articulation, sound production and speech production goals. The series has over 700 vocabulary words organized by target sound. TheseSteps to Learning Programs give you the ability to select specific words for each student. Music, movement, morphing and narration engage and motivate the students to select the words at their own pace and as often as they wish. Using the powerful changeable format, you can place the target words in different locations to ensure the students are making purposeful choices. you can also increase or decrease the number presented at one time to simplify or make the task more complex. As students choose the words over and over, they learn to hear the sound and often increase their ability to say the words. (Previous version was called Teach Me Phonemics.) |
